Altenew Whimsical Wonder Collection Release

The Altenew Whimsical Wonder Collection release is full of gorgeous stamps, dies, stencils, and some fun 3D embossing folders too. Whether you are looking for something elegant, or loose like ti dye motifs, or simply light and springy florals, you will find something to love in this collection. I had a blast playing with these goodies and came up with a few different cards to inspire you.

Folk Art Stamp & Die Bundle

First, I started playing with the Folk Art Stamp set and made three cards. For my first card, I heat embossed in gold over black cardstock. Swipe through the images to see closeups. I LOVE the super elegant look of this stamp!

For my second card, I heat embossed in gold over white. I added a sentiment embossed in gold over black cardstock and also matted it with black cardstock.

For the third card, I went for soft ink blending using Distress Oxides on the panel and heat embossed the stamp over that in white.

Scalloped Ornaments Stamp & Die Set

When I was still in the mood for heat embossing, I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment and dots from the Folk art stamp set in gold. Then, I stamped the images for the Scalloped Ornaments set and die cut them out. This set has solid stamps that make the coloring of the images a breeze. I went for a mini slimline look with this card and added some light ink blending through the Grid Stencil for the background. Finally I added some Nuvo drops for added interest.

Meadow Bush Stencil & Die Set + Tie Dye Motifs Stamp Set

Next up is one of my favorites from this release. I enjoyed the layering stencils and added texture paste to the last layer while I inked through the other two layers. I prepared an ink blended background and added some stamping using the Tie Dye Motifs stamp set. The blues in this card are form the Northern Shore crisp Dye inks set.

I made a second card using these stencils and directly inked in my panel. I used the Ruby red, Coral reef and Evergreen crisp dye inks for this card. The sentiment is form the Inked Rose Stamp set.

Tie Dye Motifs Stamp Set and Elegant Foil Washi

Then I had fun creating some repeat stamping patterns using the Tie Dye Motifs stamp set. I also added the elegant foil washi tape to one of my cards. I love the shine and how it frames the loose tie dye motifs.

Last, but not the least, I made another simple repeat stamping pattern card in classic black and white. The sentiment for this card is form the Fold Art stamp set.
