Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Cistus Layering Die Set & Gradient Cardstock Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Welcome to the Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Cistus Layering Die Set & Gradient Cardstock Release Blog Hop + Giveaway. If you are following the blog hop, you should have arrived from Amanda Baldwin‘s blog. If not, you can start from the beginning at the Altenew Card Blog.

Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Cistus Layering Die Set

Today’s release not only consists of the Craft-A-Flower Cistus but also four new sets of Gradient cardstock. This is a gorgeous set that is super easy to stack and make gorgeous flowers for your cardmaking projects. It comes with two different angles of flowers and two variants for the leaves. Here’s a closer look at the layers.

As always, you buy just the die set, or bundle it up with the awesome gradient cardstock. Maximum savings would be if you went for the monthly subscription.

I had a blast playing with the different colored cardstock and my dies. Welcome to my die-cutting party. Swipe through each card gallery to see the close up of pictures.

Card 1

First up is an easel card I made following Jennifer McGuire’s technique. I cut out the flowers using the brand new Sunset Red gradient cardstock. The background is using the Zentangle 3D embossing folder. This is my favorite card using this set, so obviously it comes first. Ha ha… moving on to the next card.

Card 2

Well, I made this one before my gradient cardstock arrived. So you see different pinks here. Please don’t confuse this with the new Cherry Blossom cardstock. Again I paired it with Zentangle 3D embossing folder.

Card 3

Last but not the least, I die cut the flowers using watercolor paper and colored them on to match the pattern paper I used for the background. I also added the Stacked Diamonds die over the pattern paper. I added some layers using the Elegant foil strip Washi and ripped vellum to hilight my sentiment.

A release hop wouldn’t be complete without some amazing prizes. So here’s what you can win by hopping along and leaving comments on the blogs.

I also like the first one just a TEENY bit better than the others, but only because it’s an easel card. All three cards are just lovely!
